To celebrate the highly anticipated launch of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) on Xbox, Microsoft teamed up with the world-renowned custom car shop West Coast Customs to bring the game’s battle-hardened bus to the fans IRL. The result? A full-sized, drivable recreation of the in-game bus transformed into an immersive promotional vehicle for the Summer of PUBG Sweepstakes.
This ambitious crossover between gaming and car culture was designed not only to generate buzz but to deliver a physical manifestation of the PUBG experience. West Coast Customs, known for their over-the-top builds and attention to detail, customized the retro bus to match PUBG’s aesthetic with elements inspired directly by the game.
The bus also included gaming stations outfitted with Xbox One X consoles allowing fans to drop in and play PUBG in the ultimate themed environment.
